PandaBoard is optimized to run various mobile open source software distributions such as Android, Ubuntu, MeeGo and more. To date, the pandaboard.org community offers full support for the following distributions. Linux Minimal Filesystem
The Linux Minimal Filesystem is based on Angstrom.  This is also used as a validation enviroment for PandaBoards.

Android
Pandroid is a community project to port Android onto PandaBoard. It is open to participation and contributions.

Ubuntu
Ubuntu is a debian-based Linux distribution. PandaBoard is fully supported by Ubuntu 10.10 and beyond.

Linaro is a not-for-profit software engineering company investing in core Linux software and tools for ARM SoCs. Linaro deliver software consolidation and optimization, and provide ARM tools, Linux kernels and builds of key Linux distributions including Android and Ubuntu on member SoCs.
